Manx runners produced a superb set of results at the London Marathon, with several athletes from across the island posting sub‑three‑hour performances.
Paul Jennings of Manx Fell Runners delivered the fastest Manx time of the day with an excellent 2:51:12.
Close behind was Lewis Crowe, clocking 2:51:26 in a superb run.
David Williams came in under three hours in 02:54:06.
Mai Kakehi of Manx Harriers also broke the three‑hour barrier, finishing in 2:56:06.
Ryan Downey of Manx Harriers was just outside, running a strong 3:01:58.
It was also an incredible day for Mike Ryan who became the first Manx representative in the wheelchair race.

Mike completed in a time of 6:03:42, speaking to Manx.News, he said: “I’m very pleased with it as I injured my left shoulder about 10 months ago which hasn’t healed which also meant I was unable to train at all.”
