A memorial walk tonight will support those affected by suicide and remember those lost.
The Bereaved Survivors of Suicide will host the Walk in Their Shoes remembrance walk along Douglas Promenade.
The walk aims to raise awareness of World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10).
The walk will begin with a short remembrance ceremony at the Bee Gees Statue at 7.45pm.
Participants will then walk from Douglas Promenade to Paramount City Café where hot drinks will be provided. Buses will be available at Paramount to take people back to the Sea Terminal.
Throughout today (September 10) and again on Friday (September 12) groups will also gather outside Marks & Spencer on Strand Street.
A display of 50 pairs of shoes will represent the 50 island residents who lost their lives to suicide between 2021 and 2025.
