The Swiss Moto Federation has named the rider who died in last night’s Manx Grand Prix qualifying session.
It has issued a statement paying tribute to its rider Mauro Poncini, who was involved in the incident at Cruickshanks during qualifying yesterday.
The statement describes the 29-year-old as having had an “extraordinary heart” and being well-loved by his fellow riders.
