Museum of the Moon, a major touring lunar artwork by artist Luke Jerram, will come to the Cathedral in Peel next month.
The exhibition takes place from February 9 until March 2.
The model moon measures six metres in diameter, and features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface.
At an approximate scale of 1:600,000, each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 6km of the moon’s surface.
Over its lifetime, the Museum of the Moon will be presented in a number of different ways both indoors and outdoors, so altering the experience and interpretation of the artwork.

The free entry exhibition will be open daily from 9am until 6pm.

The Museum of the Moon is being supported by a wide range of daytime and evening events to enhance the visitor experience for everyone, of every age!

The Extraordinary Events Fund has made this spectacle possible as part of its celebrations of 60 years of the Isle of Man Arts Council.
