Manx carriage driver Libby Priest finished third at the the National Carriage Driving Championships.
The three day national event was held at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk from June 27 to 29.
Libby was driving in the pairs with eight-year-old Monty and 16-year-old Ollie.
National Champs
Sandringham was Monty’s first National Championship, at which he coped very well with the atmosphere that he hasn’t experienced before.
Libby and her boys were in third after the dressage phase, third in the marathon face after putting up five of the fastest times throughout the obstacles, but having two knock downs.
She came second in the final phase of the cones, going clear but picking up some time penalties.
Carriage Driving
Overall she finished in third place at the championships.
Prior to Sandringham, Libby took the boys to Seacliff in East Lothian as a warm up show for the championships.
At this event she finished in first place in every phase.
Their next event will be at Allerton Park at the end of July, before heading to Ashfields in August.
