A vibrant stage production featuring beloved fairy-tale characters, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel, will debut at Kensington Arts in Douglas later this month.
Performed by a talented young cast aged eight to 17, Into the Woods JR. is a lyrical retelling of classic Brothers Grimm stories, with a twist.
The adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award-winning musical has been specially tailored for younger performers, presented through an arrangement with Music Theatre International.
The story follows familiar characters as they journey into the woods to pursue their wishes, but it delves deeper, exploring what happens after “happily ever after”.

The production runs for three performances at Kensington Arts on Friday July 25 and Saturday July 26.
Tickets, priced between £10 and £15, are available via the Kensington Arts website or in person at the Villa Marina box office.
