A man accused of making threats to kill or cause serious injury is to be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Chris Franklin, 38, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood on Tuesday.
It is alleged he made the threats in July and August of this year.
Mr Franklin did not make a bail application and was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
No pleas can be taken for the charges in the lower court and he will be committed to the higher court on October 15.
