Musicians and artists who plan to perform or exbibit their work in the UK or Ireland this year can now apply for help with their travel and accommodation from the Isle of Man Arts Council.
Individuals can apply for up to £350 per trip, and groups up to £5,000, from the £50,000 domestic travel grant fund.
Chair, Claire Christian MHK, said: ‘The Isle of Man Arts Council aims to promote our unique Manx culture and artistic talent, and we recognise the ongoing need for travel assistance to enable artists and performers to develop their practice and promote the Isle of Man’s image nationally and internationally.’
‘At a time when travelling can be challenging, the flexibility of this new rolling fund will allow more creatives to benefit from support throughout the year.’
Applicants must apply before their travel has taken place.
