Rushen will have two new representatives in the House of Keys after Michael Crowe and Mark Kemp were elected in Thursday’s General Election.
Crowe topped the poll with 1,878 votes, while Kemp secured the second seat with 1,120.
Simon Williams received 1040. Previous MHK Michelle Haywood was unable to retain her seat, finishing third with 790 votes.
Laurence Vaughan-Williams received 592 votes, followed by Helen Sheppard on 258 and Gary Chambers on 184.
Haywood had been elected in 2021 alongside Juan Watterson, who is now President of Tynwald and therefore did not contest the Rushen seat at this election.

Kemp campaigned on improving connectivity, supporting local businesses, investing in the Island’s young people and diversifying the economy.
For Crowe, the campaign centred on experience and financial discipline.
A Chartered Accountant, former President of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce and current Chief Executive of Finance Isle of Man, Crowe said he wanted to bring that professional financial experience to Tynwald.
He highlighted the need to ensure southern infrastructure projects, including the new secondary school and expanded healthcare, are delivered on time and on budget.
