Unite the Union says the planned 10 day strike by Bus Vannin drivers is the fault of the government.
Its members will take all-out industrial action for 10 consecutive days from February 21 to March 3.
A spokesperson for the union said: “This action follows the continued failure of the Department of Infrastructure to resolve the dispute.
“Drivers have remained engaged throughout. The opportunity to settle this has been there. It has not been taken. The responsibility for the disruption now rests with government.”
Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall has told Manx Radio that it is not yet known what impact the walkout will have, but that his door is open for negotiation.
