Vagabonds Ladies picked up an impressive win away at Bury on Saturday afternoon.
The Ballafletcher side won 15-26 in their Women’s NC 2 North (South) clash.
Despite just having 15, Vagas ran in four tries with Maisie Murray, Leona McGovern and Freya Crowe (×2) going over and Sammy Mac kicking three conversions.
The club said: “The lack of a bench did become apparent, particularly in the second half, when energy levels dropped and we had to defend that bit harder. Although we conceded three tries, we dug deep in the final 10 minutes to keep any further points at bay.
“We’re sat at the 5th position in the league table, and hope to creep further up in three weeks’ time when we welcome Aldwinian Women to Ballafletcher for our final game of 2025!”
