Freya Crowe touched down twice to beat Aldwinians in difficult conditions at Ballafletcher.
The side said: “We quickly lost count of the number of scrums after the first ten minutes, so a huge shout-out to the forwards.
“The gazelle herself, Freya Crowe, was the only try scorer, crossing twice for Vagas in the first half after sustained attacking pressure.
“The second half brought plenty of exciting moments that frustratingly didn’t quite convert into points, but the real takeaway was our solid, relentless defensive line, which kept the majority of play in their half.
“Forward Greeba Taisia was undoubtedly the standout performer, putting in a huge shift of tackles – safe to say we’re glad she’s on our side!”
The win lifts Vagas up to fourth in Women’s NC 2 North (South).
