Vagabonds Ladies Team’s final home game of the season sees them take on Littleborough at Ballafletcher later today.
The sides are playing in the Women’s NC 2 North, with the reverse fixture following the week after.
The club said: “We’ve been strong at home, with just one loss all season, but we’re still chasing an away win—so we’re fired up to take both victories and finish strong.
“Our forwards are ready for battle, led by Vice Captain Becka Hicks. Greeba Tasia has been putting in big hits all season, while Maisie Murray’s will be key in attack.
“In the backs, Jules Harrison brings experience at 12, Freya Crowe’s speed is dangerous, and Holly Shea is hunting for more tries. With a big squad and strong bench, we’re ready!”
The club is also celebrating International Women’s Day with a lunch for its sponsors, with patron lady Lorimer as a guest, before the game gets underway at 1:30pm.
The clubhouse is showing the Six Nations games and there is a raffle and other events on through the afternoon.
