Döhle Yachts has signed on as a sponsor for its Vagabonds Ladies team for the 2025/26 season.
The partnership is seen as a significant move for the women’s squad, which is expanding its presence both locally and in off-island competitions.
The announcement was marked by a visit to the club from former Vagabonds player Sally Aston, now Head of Client Relations at Döhle Yachts. She presented the team with their new match shorts featuring the sponsor’s branding.
Sally said: “With being a previous Vagabonds player and seeing how much the team are growing and thriving on and off the Island, we are very excited to be part of supporting their rugby journey.”
The Vagabonds Ladies side continues to grow in player numbers and competitive stature within the NC2 league. Interest in women’s rugby on the Island has seen a further surge following the recent Rugby World Cup.
Club President Jo McCabe welcomed the new partnership, adding: “It’s great to have Döhle on board with us.
“The women’s and girls’ section are really blooming and it’s great to see the divisions develop even further – thank you for the support.”
