Vlogging from the Calf

Calf of Man Bird Observatory Estate Warden, Chloe Hurst, is vlogging her adventures on the Calf of Man.

These videos will give you a snapshot of the wardens day-to-day life.

Chloe hopes the vlogs will give viewers “a sense of why island life is so special and why we all love being here so much!”

Calf of Man

Chloe is one of four Wardens living and working on the Calf of Man, a remote island, Bird Observatory and Nature Reserve located in the Irish Sea.

The island is owned by Manx National Heritage and run in partnership with the Manx Wildlife Trust and the wardens are here for the season, that runs from March to November.

At the age of 28, Chloe has just quit her job to “pursue a different lifestyle, a simpler way of life closer to nature”.
