I called it earlier in the week, you’re all very welcome. The weather looks like it is on the up! But temperatures are heading down.
As I participate in my favourite hobby (scrolling weather forecasts near and far), there seems to be much less rain on the horizon, for now anyway.
However, bearing this in mind, temperatures are going to be flirting with 0C and frost and icy patches are to be expected.
Saturday weather
According to the Ronaldsway Met Office, today (January 6) will be dry with sunny spells with only a small risk of the odd shower.
Temperatures will reach a scorching 7C (there was a sun icon, so yes scorching is appropriate), but overnight the temperature will go down to a rather chilly 2C.
The wind will be NW 15-20mph, veering NE 10-15mph overnight.
Visibility will be good, with a risk of frost and icy patches.
Sunday
Tomorrow (January 7) is forecast to be dry and bright – hallelujah!!!
The wind will be NE 10-15mph, veering ESE in the afternoon, and then increasing 15-20mph in the evening.
Visibility is once again good! But do watch out for frost and ice patches.
Next week
Looking into next week (you guys know what the weather is like here, it likes to change the goal posts at last minute) the dry spell seems to continue.
The current forecast suggests that the sunny and clear spells will stay put, but the wind will start to pick up.
It warns that on Monday (January 8) strong winds will develop, leaving a risk of frost/icy patches in places sheltered from the brisk east wind.
