Welcome Little Ones!

The Jane Crookall Maternity Unit welcomed 42 little ones to the island in February.

Of the newborn babies, 23 were girls and 19 were boys.

There were 22 spontaneous births in the month, two pre-term births.

The heaviest baby was a whooping 5.1kg (11.24lbs!!!), whilst the lightest was a teeny tiny 2.1kg (4.6lbs).
