The biggest smiles at Northern League match at Ellesmere Port belonged to Georgia Price and Carla Teece after the women’s 4×100 metres relay.
They were devastated after a mistake at the final changeover during the Island Games heat in Orkney cost the Isle of Man team a place in the final.
However, redemption was sweet on Saturday (August 2).
A superb final changeover brought the team victory, with excellent legs also from Aimee Christian and Frankie Kennedy.
