Working Continuing on Manannan

The Steam Packet will provide a further update on its sailings tomorrow later this evening.

Currently, both the 7am sailing to Dublin and its 10:45am return, along with the 3pm to Liverpool and its 7:45pm return, remain subject to confirmation.

A further announcement will be made by 7:30pm tonight, pending progress on repairs and specialist engineers’ advice.

A final decision will be confirmed by 5:30am on Tuesday at the latest.

Transfers

Customers booked on Tuesday’s Manannan sailings may amend bookings without fees or request a full refund. Those without online access can contact the reservations team or visit terminals during opening hours.

Meanwhile, Ben-my-Chree will operate a freight-only sailing to Heysham tonight to maximise passenger space on Manxman.

Free coach transfers for foot passengers to Liverpool Ferry Terminal will continue until Manannan resumes normal service.

Managing Director Brian Thomson said, “Everyone in the Company is working as hard as possible to resolve this situation and to assist everyone to get where they need to go.”

He added, “Our advice is if you need to make changes to your booking is that the quickest place to do this is online.

“If you do need to speak to a member of our team please ensure you have all your booking details to hand to make this as quick and convenient as possible for you.

“Please also remember to be polite and patient, we’re handling a very large number of calls and enquiries, our teams are working as quickly as they can, while we can sympathise with the frustration, our people deserve respect and civility.”
