The government is seeking feedback as it plans apply to the Licensing Court to permanently extend the licensed area in the Gaiety Theatre.
This would allow people to be treated like adults and enjoy a drink at their seat.

It does warn that if the change were to be approved, it would result in the introduction of security and bag checks for specific events, alcohol will also still not be available for purchase for children’s or family performances and matinees.
