Guys, I think we are all on a bit of a patience lesson, as this weekend looks a bit changeable, but next week looks like the summer we have been waiting for.
Let’s get the bad-ish news out the way first, aka, this weekend.
It shan’t be awful, but it isn’t beer garden, boat sailing, cavorting around the island in shorts and t-shirts weather.
Cloudy this morning with some patchy rain possible at first, but soon becoming dry with some bright or sunny spells breaking through this afternoon.
Windy with a strong south to southwest wind, with highs of 16°C.
The cloud will thicken and lower again this evening as outbreaks of rain redevelop and continue at times overnight.
The strong southwest wind will start to ease moderate to fresh, with minimum temperature around 12°C.
Sunday
Tomorrow (September 15) will start cloudy and damp with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, which will gradually clear during the afternoon leaving a dry and sunny end to the day.
The moderate to fresh southwest wind will soon fall light with top temperature around 16°C.
Now don’t come for me if I jinx it, or if the weather forecast decides it was teasing us, and actually it’ll return to winter-like conditions.
Indian Summer
Monday (September 16) is looking to be god dayyyum beautiful with highs of 17°C, and forecast to be dry and bright with some hazy sunshine, and a light south-easterly breeze.
Tuesday (September 17) is looking to be equally as gorgeous with bright with sunny spells, a little breeze with max wind speeds of 20mph, and a top temperature of 18°C.
The long range forecast for the rest of the week is even better with highs of 19°C on the way, bugger all rain and wind – LONG MAY IT LAST.
Pray to the weather gods that last weekend wasn’t the last we’d see of summer.
