Starting wet today, the rain quite heavy at times but then clearing away later in the morning to leave a dry and increasingly sunny afternoon.
The strong southwest winds at first will veer northwest and ease during the morning, before becoming fresh in places this afternoon, and it will feeling noticeably colder with afternoon temperatures of 6 or 7 Celsius.
Tonight will remain dry and clear, and as winds fall light a widespread frost will develop with temperatures falling to zero or minus 1 Celsius.
Icy patches are possible, then tomorrow will be a fine, mostly sunny and rather cold day.
