The Isle of Man Cricket Association have appointed Chris Chambers into the role of the National Team Men‘s coach.
Chris is currently the Women and Girl’s Pathway Manager at Lancashire CCC where he has worked for 14-years.
He is also part of the coaching staff for the Women’s Thunder team and has assisted with the Melbourne Renegades in the Women’s Big Bash and Lancashire men’s programme through to 2nd team level.
Chris will also be providing his own support staff to select and prepare the squad for the World Cup Qualifiers in June.
His assistant coach will be Clinton Perren who is a former Australian first-class cricketer who played for Queensland and is currently working in the Lancashire pathway.
Chris has been given responsibility for scheduling sessions and selecting the squad and has selected a series of dates to look at any player 17 and above who fulfils the ICC eligibility criteria and is available from June 7th to 17th to represent the Isle of Man at the World Cup Qualifiers.
