The NSC says its leisure pool and flumes will be closed until Sunday due to “essential water treatment procedures”.
We understand the issue is, erm, well, it was caused by an accident that, well, it’s nearly tea time so I’ll leave it to you to work out.
This treatment work will be done on Saturday.
A DESC spokesperson said: “In line with industry standards, this involves multiple filtration cycles and backwashes to ensure the water quality meets strict safety standards.
“While we regret any inconvenience this may cause, the main pool will remain open for scheduled swimming lessons and the planned gala tomorrow as normal.
“We appreciate the understanding of our customers as we prioritise their health and safety.”
