Museum’s Plans for Additional Display

The Manx Aviation and Military Museum

The Manx Aviation and Military Museum has submitted plans to install a section of fuselage for additional display space.

Based at Ronaldsway, the popular museum records the history of flight and military campaigns involving Manx people.

It wants to create a new display using the fuselage on a retired ATP aircraft in the colours of Manx Airlines.

The forward section of the aircraft would form additional display space with the nose being its own display.

In addition, the museum wants to install a bronze artwork, ‘The Angel of Ronaldsway’ to “be a memorial to aviators who have left the airfields of the Isle of Man, never to be seen again”.
