Bittylicious has become the first company to officially renew its sponsorship of a Beach Buddies bin, helping to keep the island’s coastline cleaner.
The occasion was marked with a visit to Douglas beach by CEO Marc Warne, Chief Legal Officer Nic Gera, and VIP Ludwig van Bitcoin.
Marc Warne said: “The Isle of Man is blessed with some of the most beautiful beaches in the British Isles, and they deserve to be looked after properly.
“Beach Buddies does an amazing job encouraging us all to do our bit to protect our precious Biosphere.”
Initiative
The charity added: “This is a great example of what the Isle of Man is all about.
“We have started a new series of sponsorships for bins around the island’s coastline, plus a new initiative for smaller bins in schools, and we are really grateful to Bittylicious for their immediate response and enthusiasm.”
The charity has 50 bins on beaches and runs over 200 clean-up events annually.
