Great news for meatball marinara fans, Ramsey’s new Subway has officially opened.
Based at Spar in Parliament Square, the store brings six inches and footlongs (no giggling at the back) to the island.
Addressing the opening, Spar said it was “really pleased” to announce it was open, a view shared by customers and residents.
Spar added: “Thanks to all our new customers today, we open tomorrow at 9.30am tomorrow while we continue with staff training. We will be open from 7am to 9.30 pm this coming Friday and Saturday.”
Subway had previously operated out of Shoprite’s stores, but closed when it was sold to Tesco.
