The Minister for Health and Social Care is being asked when the Cummal Mooar replacement scheme will come to Tynwald.
A new care home was planned and then on hold, with it once looking like the Ramsey home, which opened in 1981, would close before a new home opened.
However, after significant backlash those plans were scrapped, albeit with little by way of a timeframe.
What’s Happening?
An update in January suggested that the plans and costings would not be brought to Tynwald before the summer recess as the DHSC and Manx Care were prioritising the redevelopment of Radcliffe Villas in Douglas.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper has asked Health Minister Clare Christian MHK when the Cummal Mooar replacement scheme will come to Tynwald.
He also wants to know if the Minister will make a statement on the matter.
A written response is due by September 9.
