Public meetings will take place in the coming weeks to give an update on the implementation of the Autism Spectrum Condition Strategy.
The meetings will take place at the following times and venues:
- Tuesday, September 23, 1-2pm, Centre 21, Greenfield Road, Douglas;
- Wednesday, October 1, 7-8pm, Keyll Darree, Noble’s Hospital.
The strategy was officially launched in March 2024 with one goal: to create an ASC-friendly island.
It means to support people to access help when they need it and improving understanding across health and social care system, schools, workplaces and communities.
Strategy Update
Officers will deliver a presentation at each of the meetings before taking questions and speaking to those present.
People wishing to attend should register through Eventbrite as capacity at both venues is limited.
Find the events at here by searching for Isle of Man Government or visit here.
In addition to registering, those who wish to attend and require reasonable adjustments should let the team know in advance by emailing ASCStrategy@gov.im
The Autism Spectrum Condition Strategy report and action plan will be laid before the October sitting of Tynwald.
