Prepare For Clocks to Change

The Isle of Man Constabulary is reminding all road users of the importance of being seen with the clocks changing this weekend.

The clocks will change on Sunday (October 26) which will make shorter days and changing weather make it harder for everyone to see and be seen.

Police Road Safety Team has put together some simple advice to help pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers stay safe during the darker days and nights.

The force asks: “Whether you’re walking, cycling, or driving, a few simple steps can make a big difference, check your lights, wear bright or reflective clothing, and stay alert on the roads.

“As the evenings grow darker and the weather turns, let’s all do our part to keep each other safe this autumn. A little extra visibility can go a long way.”
