Vagabonds Ladies Team ran in nine tries on Saturday as they cruised to their first win of the season.
Freya Crowe led the way against Crewe & Nantwich, scoring four tries.
Sporting their pink socks for Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, Vagas scored six tries in the first half with Meg Kerwin and Crowe scoring two a piece.
Leona McGovern and Becky Dunne also went over in the first half before Crowe helped herself to another two with Roseen McNair scoring her first Vagas try in the second half.
The team said: “These wouldn’t have been possible without our attack, showing everything we’ve been working on over the past few months – lovely wide passes from Lauren and Becky, Georgie leading her pod and Shaz running some great lines.
“Although there were a few breaks in our defence allowing for two opposition tries, our defence overall was mega. Special shoutouts to Greeba and May with their big hits, and Charlotte with a couple of try saving tackles.
“Everyone put in such a shift yesterday – we could quite easily keep going and shoutout each individual player!”
Vagas next game welcomes Winnington Park to Ballafletcher on November 8.
