Douglas Council is inviting ‘expressions of interest’ for a new social housing development in the city.
It’s looking to hear from landowners, developers and organisations with suitable sites or ‘design-and-build’ proposals which would deliver high-quality and affordable homes.
The local authority says the future scheme will be funded in part through the sale of the empty homes on Marathon Drive and Falcon Cliff Terrace.
It’s asking those with those with potential developments of 10 or more apartments to contact the council through its procurement portal.
