The Chief Minister has been asked to provide a detailed breakdown of staff employed in marketing, media, promotional and news-related roles across government.
The question tabled by Onchan MHK Julie Edge requests information on staff numbers by job role and full-time equivalent within each government department, board, office and arm’s length body.
The request seeks to clarify how many staff are employed in communications-related roles across the public sector, including those involved in marketing, media relations, promotional activity and news functions.
The Chief Minister Alfred Cannan MHK is due to answer by January 19.
