Manx high jumper Regan Corrin delivered a historic performance at the British Indoor Championships in Birmingham on Sunday.
He cleared 2.19 metres to break the Isle of Man’s outright national record and secure a prestigious silver medal.
Corrin’s remarkable leap surpassed the long-standing mark previously held by Martin Aram, setting a new benchmark for Manx athletics and confirming his place among the sport’s elite.

The record-breaking clearance of 2.19m proved decisive in the competition, earning Corrin the silver medal against a strong field of Britain’s top indoor high jumpers.
Following his successful attempt, Corrin pushed even higher, attempting 2.22m in pursuit of gold, but ultimately finished in second place.
