Keith Watterson has been presented with the Onchan Community Cross in recognition of his voluntary service across the district.
The Crosh Pobble Chonnaghyn was created by Peter Karran.
Presented at a ceremony hosted by Onchan District Commissioners. Mr Watterson’s family, friends, colleagues, MHKs and commissioners were there to share the evening with him.
Captain of the Parish Peter Kelly M.B.E., Mr Karran, and Commissioners Chair Anthony Allen jointly presented the honour.
The biennial award recognises a resident who has made an outstanding contribution to the quality of life within Onchan through public spirited service.
Trustees selected Mr Watterson for his many years of voluntary work with local groups and organisations.
