Planned maintenance works will take place in the Emergency Department ED at Noble’s this weekend.
It will be from 11am Friday until 6pm on Sunday evening.
The essential repairs to the ED flooring will affect both the Emergency Department and the Minor Injuries Unit.
From Friday lunchtime, the MIU waiting room will be used instead of the ED waiting room, which will be temporarily closed while floor works are carried out.
Patients arriving at the hospital are asked to enter the ED via the Greeba doors. Additional signage inside the hospital will guide visitors to the correct waiting area.
The works are scheduled to be completed by Sunday evening. Any patient with urgent or life-threatening conditions should continue to attend the ED as normal or call 999 in an emergency.
