Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation saw its best attended screenings to date this weekend.
A total of 402 people went through the free screenings, held alongside Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Chairman Paul Healey said: “There were a number of people that didn’t turn up but thankfully we had already arranged walk in’s to help the situation.
“Heart screenings is what we set up the charity for and to reach this attendance makes us extremely proud.
“The results of today revealed 13 people that need to have further treatment/investigation but we know they will be able to get the treatment or advice that they need. Screening works.”
