A redacted version of the Agreement for Lease will be published once the Marine Consenting Process Order reaches Council of Ministers.
The clarification came in response from the Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall to a written question from Rushen MHK and Speaker Juan Watterson.
Mr Crookall said the DoI can release a version of the Agreement, but the full document cannot be made public because it contains commercially sensitive and confidential information belonging to the parties involved.
He stated that publishing the Agreement in full could materially prejudice the Tenant’s commercial interests.
He added that any release would need to be limited to protect sensitive details, and that the Tenant must agree in advance to any information proposed for publication.
