Studio Umami in Ramsey has announced it will close later this month.
Founders Amy and Parth said the decision had been “difficult”, confirming the final day of opening will be Friday, June 27.
While the restaurant will close, they stressed this is “not the end in its entirety”, saying they still “love Umami and treasure the space” and intend for a new chapter to follow.
They thanked customers for supporting the venture and paid tribute to the “Umami Family”, everyone who has worked at the venue in any capacity, saying the business could not have delivered its vision without them.
Diners are invited to visit over the next couple of weeks to “savour your last bit of Umami”.
Amy and Parth signed off with thanks and affection for all who have been part of the journey.
