Rory Turner (Western AC) produced another excellent performance last week, winning the silver medal in the 400 metres at the County Championships held at Loughborough.
Rory had originally been entered for the 400m hurdles on Thursday, but adverse weather conditions led to that event being cancelled.
With a late change of plans, he switched to the flat 400 metres representing Loughborough College and produced an impressive run to claim second place.
His next opportunity over the hurdles comes on Wednesday at the Loughborough Open, where he’ll be hoping to build on his strong early-season form.
