Kate Kneen produced a solid set of results at the Al Shira’aa Hickstead Derby, one of the most prominent shows on the show jumping calendar.
The event was held earlier this month at Hickstead in West Sussex, and Kneen rode her own and Ryan Kneen’s Dezir du Amo.
The opening day brought four faults in the 110cm after a pole fell, but the pair recovered strongly.
On day two, they produced a double clear in the 110cm class to finish 19th from a field of 170.
Their progression continued into day three, where they stepped up to their first 120cm Open. Another double clear earned them 14th place in a class of 80.
Kneen said she was “absolutely delighted” with the horse’s performance throughout the week.
She thanked IFGL for their support this season.
