The Isle of Man Post Office has confirmed that it is currently unable to accept goods for delivery to European Union (EU) destinations until further notice.
The statement explained that the third-party systems used to process international shipments were being updated to align with changes to EU customs requirements. Although preparations are said to be underway, the island’s current systems were “not yet ready for the changes”.
The suspension affects the following services:
- Post Office counters
- Online Postage
- Click & Dispatch
- Franking
Sending documents to the EU remains unaffected, according to the Isle of Man Post Office, as does postage to destinations outside of the EU, including the USA.
The Post Office has issued an apology for any inconvenience caused, assuring customers that they’re working with suppliers to resolve the situation.
