It is going to get a little bit warmer this weekend, but by no means will be tropical.
Sadly, we are going to have to sit in the pits of winter for a few months yet, unless you’re escaping to a hot climate, then *^&* you.
It’ll be another icy start today with cloud increasing through the morning and some patchy outbreaks of rain developing into the afternoon.
This will perhaps fall as sleet over the hills – how long before the mountain shuts? Will it stay open for a full 24 hours, may the odds be in your favour.
There will be a moderate south-easterly wind with top temperature around 6°C.
Getting Warmer
Tomorrow will be rather cloudy and mostly dry, with only a small risk of drizzle at times, mainly over the hills.
The south to southwest wind will increase to become strong, and with milder maximum temperatures of around 8°C.
I am now hoping that the ice pisses off and I can walk across the farm yard without going arse over tit.
Now as the ice starts to buggers off but the strong wind comes back – if it isn’t one thing, its another.
Strong winds will develop from tomorrow night into Monday – the wind won’t be too savage, it’ll bring maximum gusts of 45mph.
Double Figures
From minus 2 to double figures, the weather gods are playing some mind f*!kery.
Monday is set to be 10C and largely cloudy with occasional outbreaks of rain or drizzle.
The strong winds will stay until later in the day before decreasing to 20-25, veering SW 15-20 later.
Tuesday is also set to be a double figure day with highs of 10C.
A very similar day that will be largely cloudy with a few outbreaks of drizzle at times, just less wind with forecasters suggesting SW 15-20, decreasing 10-15 for a time.
Enough serious talk, into the world of Mystic Moz.
Mystic Moz
Welcome back my loyal follows, those of us who like to blame the universe for our erratic behaviour.
You’re going to have just the perfect excuse on Monday (January 13) as its time for the first full moon of the year.
Please, for those of you who are easily influenced by the moon try to keep it under control and don’t let the ‘warmer’ weather let your rage heat up too – Yes, I’m looking at you lunatics.
This full moon is in cancer and promises to be loud and intense (again, lunatics stop it).
The moon forms a tight conjunction with Mars retrograde in Cancer, which amplifies your Mars retrograde story.
This might weave in the need to set boundaries and sever ties with old situations, feelings, or relationships that are no longer aligned.
It can also bring up anger and resentment that’s been dormant (not you, lunatics). While that all sounds a little scary, it is an opportunity to embrace your sacred rage.
This is an aligned time to find a productive outlet, like a kickboxing class or somatic exercise, to release any simmering frustration.
I’m not sure I am ending this weather on a good note, but I’ll try to soften it by translating it to blunt Charlie talk – if someone has been pissing you off, then now is the right time to tell them and move on.
Enjoy your weekend! And I hope you haven’t annoyed anyone with the incoming full moon.
Charlie x
