The weather for this weekend isn’t particularly great, nor is it bad, it is a very meh kind of weekend.
Maybe I’m just suffering the post holiday blues, or maybe its the fact its the middle of January and having to face up to reality that there is at least another two months of winter left.
It isn’t that I hate winter, because I do like that it gives an excuse to wrap up warm (when given the opportunity), but I am starting to get over the short days.
That could be what it is, and that the weather is boringly settled so it makes my weathers seem a bit dull – although, I’d argue that its just doing its job, as the weather is rather dull.
Meh Weekend
It’ll be largely cloudy today with the best any sunny intervals in the north (obviously).
There is the risk of outbreaks of drizzle mainly over the hills.
The Met Office say there are strong winds, but now we have a few storms under our belts, I’d say the forecast of S or SE 15-25 which will decrease to 10-20 later on, is merely an average winters day.
Looking into tomorrow (January 19) it’ll be mainly dry and largely cloudy to start, then a few outbreaks of rain or drizzle later in the day or overnight into Monday.
There is bugger all wind around on Sunday with a S or SE 10-20, veering SW 5-15 later.

I won’t bore you too much with this section this week, but I will let you into my own full moon meltdown.
There was a full moon on Monday (January 13) which promised to be emotional, that I can confirm it was.
Did I have any reason to be emotional? No. Did I find myself crying and throwing a decent strop on a green run in Courchevel that was only solved by four glasses of wine? Yes.
Moral of the story? It would appear I, like many of you, am indeed a lunatic (I’ll blame the moon, not my complete inability to ski sober).
We now just have to wait until February 12 to see what the next beauty of a full moon has in store, lets hope its abundance of cash, and maybe sunshine – that would be cute.
Back to The Weather
Next week looks less meh and more yay! (Sort of).
Monday is forecast to be mainly dry with bright or sunny intervals, with a risk of a few outbreaks of rain or drizzle to start.
Whilst Tuesday is set to be dry with variable and at times large amounts of cloud.
Both days wind shan’t be an issue (lets take the small wins).
I just want spring to be here now, I am over the winter.
