Yasmin Ingham has wrapped up her week at Royal Jump in France with a milestone completion for rising star Kinda Corvette.
However, alongside it brought a disappointing but precautionary withdrawal for her World Championship partner, Banzai du Loir.
Kinda Corvette successfully completed his first CCI4*L, rolling just one pole on the final day to secure an MER and, more importantly, valuable experience at the level.
She described the 10‑year‑old as “such a talented dude” and said she is excited for what the second half of the season may bring after a well earned break.
Banzai, meanwhile, delivered a “stellar” cross country round on Saturday (May 30) but appeared jarred on Sunday (May 31) morning, prompting Ingham to withdraw him from the final phase.
She said: “He owes me absolutely nothing but of course disappointing for everyone involved in our journey, a sport with highs but even more lows. He’s happy to be back home and out in his field.”
Ingham also offered her congratulations to Gemma Stevens on taking the win and thanked her team for supporting her, saying the week had been a “big team effort” and that she “couldn’t do it without you all”.
