Manx Care wants to hear from those who are neuro-divergent or have learning disabilities about their experiences accessing health services.
The Safeguarding for Health Team want to find out what services do well and what could be improved.
It wants ideas as to how the Emergency Department, GPs and the hospitals can make reasonable adjustments to make settings more welcoming and less daunting to access.
It is hoped that this will help Manx Care better meet the needs of this group of people and in turn address the health inequalities that they face.
The survey is now live and will run until July 13 and can be found online here.

Mr Corkhill said: “We know that health services for this group have not always been as good as they can be, and we want to do something about it.
“It is important that we hear from this community about their experience of accessing health services and learn from what went well, what didn’t and what people would like to change.
“We would like Reasonable Adjustments to be seen as the norm – as common-sense tools – within an accessible and universal health service.”
Reasonable Adjustments are changes that are needed by disabled people so that they can access the same services as non-disabled people.
