Airport chiefs have urged passengers travelling on Monday to allow extra time to make it through security following significant weather disruption.
Several flights were cancelled on Sunday afternoon due to the high winds at Ronaldsway, with one easyJet plane landing before going back to Liverpool again with its passengers still onboard.
With a high volume of passengers expected due to Sunday’s cancellations, management emphasised the need for early arrival to ensure a smooth process through security checks.
In a post, the airport said: “We’re expecting a busy day with a high volume of passengers departing due to todays weather disruption so it’s essential to leave plenty of time to process through security.”
