Groudle Glen Railway is offering the chance to purchase a unique piece of memorabilia.
To assist in funding a rebuild, the railway is selling the original brass nameplate from its steam engine ‘Annie’.
The railway said: “The nameplate is available in person at the railway for sale… so maybe treat yourself at this year’s Heritage Transport Festival.”
It is priced at £1,500 and available from the charity’s shop.
The railway is open on Wednesday fro 7pm to 9pm this week for its summer evening trains.
