Gourmet Shakes has announced it will leave Douglas’ high street after TT citing an increase in rates driving up costs.
The business, based on Castle Street, has told Manx Radio that it will be moving to Windsor Road.
Announcing the move on its Facebook page, Gourmet Shakes said “after a decade in Douglas town centre it’s time for a change”.
It added: “Unfortunately a 25%+ rise in rates in the last three years has been a big reason for our price increases. With the move we should be able to keep prices low for all to enjoy & perhaps you’ll even see some price reductions.
“It’s business as normal until June so pop in and see us!”
