Port Erin Commissioners has issued another plea to people not to leave glass on its beach.
The Costa Del Port Erin has been very popular in recent weeks given the weather, but sadly that has brought its downside.
The authority said: “Unfortunately, we have seen an increase in glass, including broken bottles, being left on the beach which is a danger to others enjoying this space.
“Don’t spoil someone else’s day, please take your litter home with you, or dispose of it in the nearest bin!”
The authority was forced to make a similar plea last month after graffiti and broken bottles were found on the beach and surrounding area.
